Logging to csv on version 8 seems to record less data than version 7, i.e. it doesn't include the fields TotalCells, RowDimCount, DimCount or DimInfo.

We use this data to find out what our users are doing, is there anyway to get it in v8?

Does it get recorded to the SQL server if log to database is set as a preference?

One of the big reasons for discontinuing the detailed logging was the introduction of 500,000 item dimensions. A user could potentially select all items and anytime they navigated to a new page, all these codes would have to be written to file. At an average of six bytes per code (with commas) that's 3 M to the log file. That would impact both performance and disk space. The general feedback from our user community was that administrators were more interested in table hits rather than dimension and item level information.

We have a hotfix available upon request to have WDS 7.3 logging functionality in WDS 8.0.
